Your Kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Intercessory prayer is liking pounding on a bolted door until it's opened. Here are 7 'doors' we all have, areas of life that we want to see God's Kingdom come to. Try praying about one of them each day for a week:
- Relationships
- Workplace
- Family
- Church
- Community
- City
- World
If we're going to pray for God's will, we need to understand what His will is, what His Kingdom looks like. These are 4 keys to help us. Use them in your prayer as you declare God's will:
- Kingdom of Salvation
This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2.3-4 - Kingdom of Healing
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. Matthew 9.35 - Kingdom of Peace
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14.7 - Kingdom of Justice
He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. Isaiah 9.7
Once you've centered yourself on God's goodness, take time to pray intentionally and forcefully for his will to be done. Tick on each day as you pray. You can make a note of what you prayed and anything you felt God speaking to you.
